What you will LOVE about using this Twins Daily Journal
Your first few precious months managing newborn twins can seem quite exciting, overwhelming, and amazing.
You will be getting to know your two new cherubs plus learning how to be a mama of twins – it’s a HUGE task and there is so much to remember and learn.
Throw in a good dose of sleep deprivation and the chances of you remembering who had/did what during the day is practically ZERO.
It is hard enough keeping track of one baby’s feeding and sleeping habits and health issues let alone TWO and yet you are expected to update your midwife/GP/Pediatrician at each visit with how your babies are tracking.
When I was in hospital after just having my girls, the nurses gave me a form to fill out throughout the day to record every feed, breast pumping session, wet nappy, pooey nappy, any medications my two had had during the day.
To start with I thought it was such a pain to fill out, I barely had time to sleep, the last thing I wanted to do was fill in forms.
But then after a few days, it became an absolute lifesaver, as without it I would have had NO IDEA which baby had fed on which side, who maybe hadn’t pooed for a few days, who was having a feeding frenzy – this form saved my poor, totally sleep-deprived, twin mama brain.
So when I left the hospital (and being a bit of a nerd), I created my own form at home, so I could continue on recording what each of my babies was up to.
As well as being able to share this information with my post-natal midwife, it was lovely to be able to look back and see how far we had all come as there were so many milestones during those first few months.
This very basic, original form has now been prettied up a bit 😉 and created into a wonderful journal for you to use with your babies.
This downloadable file will be emailed to you immediately and you will be able to print off as many copies as you need.
I hope you find it really helpful.
